<p>Buying a used EDM machine? Here is what to inspect before purchase:</p>
<p><strong>General Condition</strong></p>

<li>Check machine level - verify within 0.02mm/m</li>
<li>Inspect way covers for dents and corrosion</li>
<li>Run a test fire - listen for unusual sounds from servo motor</li>
<li>Check all axis movement for smoothness and backlash</li>
</ul><p><strong>Power Supply and Dielectric System</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Verify power supply voltage matches your facility</li>
<li>Test dielectric pump pressure (should be 2-4 bar)</li>
<li>Inspect filters - replace if dirty</li>
<li>Check resin tank condition and capacity</li>
</ul><p><strong>CNC Controller and Software</strong></p>

<li>Power cycle twice - watch for alarm codes on startup</li>
<li>Verify backup battery voltage (under 3V means replace soon)</li>
