Choosing the right mold steel depends on your application. Here is a quick reference:

P20 (HRC 30-34) — General injection molding, prototypes. -5/kg.
H13 (HRC 46-52) — Die casting, hot work. -8/kg.
S136 (HRC 48-52) — Corrosive plastics, medical. -15/kg.
DC53 (HRC 58-62) — High wear, long runs. 0-15/kg.
Cr12MoV (HRC 58-62) — Stamping dies. -5/kg.
